Course: Animal Science and Zoo Management

Students in the Animal Science and Zoo Management course experience real-world interactions with animals while participating at Potter Park Zoo. On a daily basis, you might be caring for animals by feeding them, cleaning their cages, and learning about the physiology and anatomy of animal bodies. This class is a mixture of hands-on interactions and classroom teaching.

Students can learn skills that will contribute to further education in Marine Biology, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Zoology, Conservation, and Environmental Education.

Course: Computer Graphics, 3D, and Animation

Students in the Computer Graphics, 3D, and Animation course utilize exciting software programs that help them learn skills needed for potential job opportunities and college degrees in Mass Communications, Video Production, Digital Media, Marketing, Advertising, Computer Graphics and Multimedia. 

1. Maya is a 3D animation program that teaches students to model and design humans, animals, and objects.
2. Adobe Photoshop is a 2D graphics program that teaches students depth, dimension, shadows, light, layering, and colors.
3. Adobe Flash is a 2D animation program to create character animation and motion for the web.
