Visitation Day

What's it like to take career classes? What do you do? Local area high school students in Lansing were invited to attend “Visitation Day” at the +Eaton RESA Career Preparation CenterSophomores and Juniors had the option to select two programs from our list of 15 classes. They had a chance to participate in hands-on projects and experience a non-traditional classroom environment. Student volunteers currently enrolled in our programs spoke to sophomores and juniors about their personal experiences at the Eaton RESA Career Center.

Students visiting the Auto Technology program had a chance to work on cars while students in the Fashion Design class designed newspaper dresses. Each program offered a unique mini project for students to work on. Over 1000 students attended Eaton RESA's Visitation Day at Lansing Community College West Campus. It was a busy day for staff and volunteers.
